David Tennant Returns for New Big Finish Audio Adventures

Yep, it feels like David Tennant will carry on his adventures as the Doctor for what feels like forever at this point! In another announcement that puts his incarnation back in Time Lord action, we can look forward to brand new stories from those amazing people at Big Finish.

Beginning summer 2027, Big Finish will release new adventures of the Tenth Doctor starring David Tennant bimonthly. If you’re a fan of the current Tenth Doctor stories, these should be on your pre-order radar now.

Tennant made a celebrated return to the role for 2013’s fiftieth anniversary special and, a
decade later, became the Fourteenth Doctor for the sixtieth anniversary. Now he’s set to return
as the Tenth Doctor once more, for another journey through time and space in 15 brand-new,
hour-long, full-cast audio adventures from Big Finish Productions.

On returning to the TARDIS, David Tennant said: “Big Finish makes it dangerously easy – you
turn up, have a lovely time, and suddenly you’ve saved the universe again.”

Nicholas Briggs, Big Finish’s creative director, added: “We’re always on the look-out for David to
return. He is such a busy, in-demand actor, sometimes it’s just not possible for him to find the
time to come to the studio.”

“But we’re always ready and waiting with new stories to tell and now he’s back and we’re
